Dr Jawad Riaz earned his graduate medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Pakistan. He completed his Psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Cabrini Medical Center, New York City, NY. He worked as an adult psychiatrist at a Community Mental Health Center in Richmond, VA where he developed an interest in Sleep Disorders and pursued fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS. He is diplomat American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and diplomat American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Sleep Medicine.
Dr Riaz specializes in treating patients with both Psychiatric as well as Sleep Disorders. In his practice, he focuses on comprehensive and extensive psychiatric evaluations and focuses on treatment plans specific to individual needs with goal of promoting balance and wellness. Dr Jawad Riaz specializes in treating patients with all psychiatric issues ranging from depression, mood disturbances, bipolar disorder, panic, social anxiety, OCD, psychosis, Paranoia, schizophrenia, sleep problems, attention problems PTSD, as well as troubles with work and relationships.
Dr Jawad Riaz is also an expert in evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients with various sleep disorders. He helps patients to manage or end their disruptive sleep behaviors. He specialize in the assessment of respiratory and non respiratory sleep disorders in adult and children including Sleep apnea, Narcolepsy, Restless legs syndrome, Periodic limb movements, Idiopathic hypersomnia, circadian rhythm disorder, chronic insomnia, snoring and Parasomnia.

Dr. Riaz lives in North Dallas area with his family. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. He lives with his wife and three beautiful children in North Dallas. He enjoys reading, sports, and music.
Dr Sabeen Riaz, has always had a passion for human behavior and children. While attending medical school at Fatimah Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan she discovered that psychiatry combines both of these passions perfectly. She earned her MD degree in adult Psychiatry at University of Mississippi Medical Centre, Jackson, MS and later completed her fellowship training in Child and Adolescent psychiatry.
Dr Sabeen Riaz understands how important optimal mental health is to overall physical health. She believes that a healthy brain is a key for well being, balance and optimal functioning of an individual being.
She offers not only evidence-based psychiatric treatment but also a path towards long-lasting change and a deeper understanding of the mind. She assists patients with a range of difficulties, including mood, anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, crisis of identity, interpersonal issues and ADHD.
To maintain her high clinical standards and excellent patient care, Dr Sabeen Riaz is dedicated to continuing education and postgraduate training. She also keeps up with the latest technology and treatment advancements in her field, utilizing all the tools available to practice well-informed, evidence-based practice. Dr Sabeen Riaz is active in the American Psychiatry Association (APA) and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).
In her Personal life, Dr Sabeen enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She lives with her husband and three children in North Dallas. Her Hobbies include travelling, music, home decorating and cooking.

I have worked in hospice for over 20 plus years and have been a national speaker at hospices in many states as well as a national speaker at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Convention. I have worked with the dying and they have taught me how to live. Finding meaning and purpose in life is one of the most important goals I strive to help my clients to achieve.
My passion is individual counseling. I draw from my experience in hospice as well individual therapy to help clients achieve their potential. I have facilitated family and couple therapy. I have worked and had success with people dealing with BDP and bi-polar disorder. I have worked as a therapist on a dual diagnosis unit. Specialize in dealing with clients with addictions whether they be alcohol, substance abuse or other.
